Karina Lafayette (born Licursi) arrived into a creative family in Montreal, Canada on May 19, 1992.
Raised by a single mother in a rough neighborhood, writing her first screenplay at fourteen, and initiating a feature documentary on the 2012 Quebec Student Strike that took two-and-a-half years to direct, Karina is passionate at heart. Currently developing independent projects, her life-long ambition is to turn Carus Productions into a film company that promotes onscreen diversity.
Her main inspirations in film are Charlie Chaplin and Stanley Kubrick.
In 2016 she moved to Toronto and has since continued into bigger projects currently in development.
